Nine games have passed, and all we've seen from Luis Guillorme is one appearance back in game three, three innings on defense, and a lone trip to the plate.
it seems Andres Gimenez' legs have trumped his hands as the Mets' tool of choice for infield defense substitution. And the Mets clearly didn't like him as a pinch-runner, because they left some sluggard baserunners in the game last week, and added Billy Hamilton this week.
So he seems like a guy without a role. Of course I know that, if they move him, Robinson CanĂ³ could easily get hurt the next day. I'd like to see them find a spot to use him though. We have a Sunday DGAaNG going here, and still no Brother Louie.
Juan Centeno would be in today's lineup if he was on the roster, but not Guillorme.
