Our Man Edgy

Just over six years ago, I lost my dad - coincidentally on the same day bmfc lost his. And, though I wasn't expecting it at all, Edgy posted a kind tribute to both our dads right here on this forum. Now it's my unfortunate opportunity to return the favor. I see on Facebook where Edgy's mom passed away about an hour and a half ago. From the tributes, she seemed like a wonderful woman. Hang in, Ed. May you find peace in these difficult times.

Thanks all. It's been a whirlwind. While my mother was and is tops, and passed with as much grace as I had any right to hope for, and a lot of tears are being shed, my siblings are determined to drive me insane. More or less good people, but we mix like nitroglycerine. There's a reason I'm a Met fan living in another city. Thanks for reminding me that they are not my only family.
