Weeds from China

I'm seeing some news stories saying that people in the United States are getting packages of seeds in the mail from China that they didn't order. The government thinks these may be fast-spreading weeds that are intended to disrupt American agriculture. This is a strange story, and I wouldn't be totally surprised to see it debunked by Snopes.com, but on the other hand, nothing is too weird for 2020.

I've been quietly worried about germ 'warfare' - I hate using that word but it's all I got right now. Now I have worry about weed warfare? Splendid.
