Matz is due for a good outing. Starting rotations are pressed to go five deep in a normal season. They now seem challenged to go three deep in 2020

Ronnie actually said that Matz "has been a pleasure to watch" because he pitched 4 whole innings and gave up only 1 run. Not so pleasurable anymore. Perhaps Matz should be a reliever.

Turns out a 6-0/5 start, so to speak, was setting our Matz expectations a bit high. If Gselly can get stretched out, and WockaWocka and Jake are healthy... he looks like a prime candidate for longman/swingman doody.

Speaking of uncomfortable, between the tense stance and the grimace, Nido looks like he's holding back a King-Kong-sized turd when he settles in the batter's box. Ends up squeezing out a double play ball, so... kindasorta.
