Both the Mets and the Marlins fly to Florida to play today. Couldn't they just have played at Citifield? deGrom vs. Trevor Rogers. Matz and Betances see the Dr. today.

I'd say "unbelievable" but it is, even with Jake on the mound. The Marlins get runners in scoring position and they score. The Mets get runners in scoring position and they stay there.

I take tremendous satisfaction in that all but one of deGrom's runs allowed today are unearned. I'm on a deGrom watch way more than I'm on a Mets watch this season.

I'm so apathetic that even if the Mets were to make the playoffs, I could see myself missing a Mets playoff game, or watching it half-assed while I was doing something else. I never missed a live Mets post-season game since I became a fan. I mean, eight teams qualify, including likely sub-.500 teams? What a load of crap.
