I've often said that if you're going to hit like shit and pitch like shit and field like shit then you might as well do them them all on the same night ... but there's been far too many of these for a full season already much less a truncated one.

Whadidja expect with Michael Cuddyer pitching and your best three hitters this season (Smith, Conforto and Cano) all sitting? If the NL was really smart, the Mets wouldn't see another righty starter for the rest of the season.
