Jeff Passan of ESPN reports that AL postseason games will be played in Los Angeles and San Diego, and NL games in Houston and Arlington. The World Series will be played in Arlington.

We'll have more on this developing story.

Wow, it took all these false starts to finally open the Arlington park, and now it's going to host the World Series in its first year.

I wonder if this is the beginning of the World Series being assigned to a pre-designated park.

A lot of folks, including super-agent Scott Boras, have been arguing for it for years. More frequently, he's pitched expanding the series to nine games and having the first two at a pre-designated park.

Re: Bubbles

I can't see how this would fly with the owners. Team's that make the World Series

make a gazillion dollars per home game on tix, concessions, merchandise, weed...

MLB is just begging for 1/2 of the fans to tell them to sod off and wave bye-bye.

(I'm fine with this plan for 2020)

Yes, it's okay for 2020 but a terrible idea in a normal season.

Re: Bubbles

more COVID today as Hou/Oak was postponed.

Given the periodic outbreaks and likelihood of unfair differential in number of games played/made up at end of year, an NBA style bubble for the playoffs is a good idea and I'd like to see a few days off after the regular season to set that up.
