It will probably be a two-step vaccine, so let's go with when you think you might get the first of the two jabs.

March 1, 2021, which is about one year since they started the all-out push to develop the vaccine, and that is the time it usually takes to prove both its efficacy and safety. My prior answer was it would be after I saw Trump and his family members visit the production facility, have dosages taken off the production line (no vials of sterilized water, please) and have it injected into their bodies on live tv. Is the prediction availability or personal receipt? I'm in no hurry to take 'experimental' drugs. Assuming there is something available in March 2021 (time of my annual physical) I'll do what the doctor recommends.

I'll not get the vaccine, too many third rate celebrities have convinced me that they're unsafe and it's all a government plot to control our minds and bodies.

While I'd like it earlier, I picked July 1. To do trials properly, it'll have to be tested into early next year. And if Trump is gone, the medical community will heave a sigh of relief and do things right, not just fast. Production of vaccine and accessorials (syringes and the like) will have to be ramped up, and as you need two doses, everything will be doubled. Then first responders and other essential personnel will get their shots, followed by the most vulnerable. At least one vaccine location will be bombed or shot up by radical extremists, who think that the vaccine is made from aborted babies, or is part of an international cabal to turn us into mindless zombies for the pedophile elite. I figure the rest of America will get lottery numbers for their shot. Anti-vaxxers will make a big show of burning their lottery numbers because, well, they're stupid, and we'll never truly eradicate this virus because of them. But I'll get my shot on or around July 1.

i plan to catch covid LIKE A MAN. screw your pussy vaccines. no, not really. i'll wait until i guess march or may of next year, presuming it's out by then, so that i can be reasonably certain that the new administration can verify it's actual safety and effectiveness. i feel like anytime before then and i'm basically relying on a snake oil saleman for actual medicine.

My guess, such as it is, is that around New Year's health care workers and the like will start getting vaccinated, and it will take a while longer to roll out to everyone else. I'm guessing it will come my way in mid-March, so I voted March 1. But it's just a guess. Who the hell knows, really?

I got my flu shot late when I had my last physical in March. With my current luck I'll get a flu shot and covid shot Mar21 and start losing fingers and growing some more toes or something.

Well, y'all should get a flu shot this autumn regardless of what's going on with Covid vaccines or what you did or didn't have last winter/spring. The virus/antibody thing is akin to a lock and key system so what will protect you from the specific version of the flu they anticipate for this winter almost certainly will NOT work for Covid and verse vica.

I chose March, but it's looking more likely it's going to be few more months. I'm fine with that, there are a lot of people who probably need it more here.

With the approval of the J & J vaccine and the ramping up of production of the other two, I'm hoping me and the missus get our jabs before summer. I picked July 1st, hoping I'm wrong on the long side.

I was the outlier saying 2022 back in September. I now believe I'll likely get my first dose sometime this summer.

Didn't make any predictions, but at the time the thread began, I was thinking May or June. However, my employer arranged for people to start getting vaccinations on January 31. I just got my second dose today.
