Every time they say Bo Bichette, I hear "Boba Shett." Every time they say Hyun Jin Ryu, I hear "Pungent Ryu." Every time Keith says, "I'm sorry but ..." before ripping the umpires, I don't get the idea that he's all that sorry.

Ryu retires just four of the nine hitters he faced in innings 1 & 2 and yet NYM bats manage just one run.

One run on eight hits with two out in the fourth is hard to do. McNeil seems to have mysteriously bowed out. Pretty crappy game for the umps.

It's like these game are played while being overseen by a bunch of hall monitors. And seeing as how that was just the first replay challenge of the game, that means there are still like six or seven left. Unless we go extra innings of course at which point I believe the teams get four more each.

So long as Luis and Jeremy stuck to an artificial standard for the number of pitches I'm fine. They say that the game is important but what's really important is making up a number of pitches for the starter to throw (or innings) and sticking to that even if it means losing the game.
