I won't watch live. The incumbent sickens me physically, to look at him, to hear his voice, I won't subject myself to 90 minutes of that. I will read recaps tomorrow and watch any highlighted clips from news sources I trust.

About 99% of the country is set in their views -- Hell, a bunch have already voted -- so I don't see anything that doesn't involve firearms or kiddie points altering anyone's stance.

Count how many times Trump sniffs after doing a couple of lines before he goes on stage. I'm hoping that Biden has a snappy comeback when the Orange Pustule starts lying his ass off from the first question. No matter what happens, Fox will call it for Trump. All Biden needs is to look presidential and not say anything stupid; and not rise to the bait Trump will be tossing out. Ignore the Hunter bullshit, because you know it's coming, Joe.

I really really tried to watch but I had to turn it off. Wallace was steamrolled by Trump, and lost control of things almost immediately. That wasn't a debate, it was a food fight.

There's been speculation that Biden may skip the last two debates because they're so obviously pointless. But of course, if he does that it will be spun that he's cowed by Trump and afraid of a rematch.

Well, seriously, the debate commission needs to look into muting one person's mic when the other is speaking. Trump simply won't obey the rules, and if you don't do that it'll just be another 90 minutes of squabbling. Sean Hannity, predictably, said that Trump was strong and decisive and Biden looked weak and confused. Bob Woodward this morning said that Trump is "assassinating the Presidency". Katty Kay on MSNBC said it reminded her of so many meetings she'd been in with an obnoxious man who talks over everybody else. Even Rick Santorum on CNN thought Trump was a disaster. All Biden needed to do here was not lose voters to Trump. Mission accomplished. That performance isn't exactly going to have suburban women flocking to Trump. Does anyone ever write "Sean Hannity" without following it up with "predictably"? I have to think this was a strategy on the part of Trump's team to depress voter turnout, in both senses of the word. Many of the comments have been along the lines of "this debate was a shitshow" which is far better for Trump's slim reelection chances than "Trump is a shitshow".
