From the Archives: Daniel and the Gays

March 2015. Danny gets a little conservative and everybody goes a little crazy. Elton John hijacks the whole thing.

Irish looks like a prophet in predicting that the next administration might be one inclined to invite Murphy to visit the White House to celebrate his views.

I re-read this thread. Man, I must've forgotten that VicSage wrote amicus curiae briefs for the ACLU. Impressive. I wish he'd come back. Hasn't posted here in about half a year.

There's some hilarious and thoughtful stuff in that thread including a "Tiny Dancer" chorus I can't believe I wrote and have no memory of.

Also, David Wright in his boring book reminded me of the "lunchgate" incident of Spring Training 2015 referred to in the thread (he of course doesn't address Muffy's remarks). He wants to be clear-- he regrets his actions resulted in a player being humiliated publicly. He did not know Marc Carig was in the room and would basically livestream it. IOW, this like 99% of his book is only about things we know already. There's 1% where he describes meeting and then proposing to Wifey Molly.

The other thing about ST 2015. The Mets played great in that preseason. It gave me CAHNfidence they were capable of having a good year and so when it (impobably) happened it wasn't a complete shock.

Is this some kind of gayness rating??
LOLOL. I was wondering how I caught a game that somehow included both Wilfredo Tovar and Alex Castellanos, and did they both actually play for the Mets, and then I realized it was still Spring Training.

Speaking of Irish, he is honing his photography skills on a daily basis.
