Even in my little town I waited an hour

I was #156

Re: I voted

I was about an hour on line. They moved my polling place from the fire house to Morgan State University. Boy, did I feel like a bone asking that firefighter what gives.

Re: I voted

Also. I thought that maybe after I cast my ballot I would feel better.

Nope. Still anxious as fuck.

Re: I voted

Me too

I'm at the voting place in my local candidate's shirt and everyone is so somber

I hope because they are determined to change things

Re: I voted

I voted at around 8AM, half hour (most of which was finding a parking spot).

My wife voted around 10:30 and was through in about 15 minutes.

Our town is giving out Connecticut "I Voted" stickers that show different pictures of famous Suffragettes.

Re: I voted

Cool! I'm now standing in line in place of a fellow with oxygen so he can sit down.

I hope he votes blue

Fairfield County CT

My wife voted at 6AM and there were people in line already. Took her just under an hour. I plan to go vote after lunch.

Re: I voted

Early voted last week (Thursday?) for the first time ever.

In and out in five minutes. Refused the offer of the 'I Voted' sticker. I felt like Kramer: You can't make me wear the ribbon!

Re: I voted

I voted a few weeks ago using a dropbox. A couple of days later I got an e-mail notification saying my vote had been received.

My son voted this morning at the local elementary school. He left the house at around 7 and was back at 8:15.

Re: I voted

I got my mail-in ballot, but got too nervous and we ended up voting in person last week.

Re: I voted

Crazy tech upgrades. I filled in two 11x17 double-sided pages worth of a ballot. I was told to insert them into a machine, and it apparently didn't matter which page went first, which side was up, or which end I fed through first.

Re: I voted

Took me 40 minutes. Waiting for the lunch rush to die down was the right call.

I've been voting in this town for 16 years and never waited in any line.

Re: I voted

Voted Thursday afternoon. In & out in 2 minutes -- THAT HAPPENS TO LOTS OF GUYS DON'T JUDGE ME.

Wife & sister went Sunday morning, their wait was longer but still reasonable, 15-20 minutes total.

Voted Sunday morning— super fast and efficient. Might be because desks weren't manned by 75 year olds.

Lololol

Both of the above

Re: I voted

In and out in 5 minutes. Did a walk by in the cold rain at early voting last week only to encounter a block and a half wait

The word is "staffed," you sexist.

Re: I voted

Happened to pass by the Board of Elections on my way home late one evening a few weeks ago and dropped my mail-in ballot in the dropbox, and I've verified that it's been validated.
