Political Contiributions (Monetary)

I'm too lazy to make a poll, so this is for general discussion.

I'm 58 years old and I've never donated a nickel to a politician, PAC, political

cause or anything of the like?

I probably have, somewhere, but it's not coming to mind.

We contributed to our local State House candidate; unfortunately he did not win.

Heck of a good guy so, so I don't regret it

Yeah, I'm sure I'm in the minority. Especially in this small micro-group of regulars.

Let's just say ActBlue has me on speed dial.

I've donated in every presidential election since 1988, and have given money to innumerable congressional and local elections. I have a recurring monthly donation to my current congressman. So yep, I've done some political contributing. Not everybody can or wants to, but that's how we roll. Your mileage may vary.

I never gave much, but as I've grown older, wealthier, and more concerned, I've given more. This cycle, I sent a few dollars Mayor Pete's way, then gave to Biden once he became the clear primary winner, then Cal Cunningham, and then both the Georgia Democratic Senate runoff candidates.

Not praising or condemning anybody. You asked, I responded. I can certainly understand why somebody wouldn't donate. Money has completely corrupted politics, even for those I support. I got 7 (!) e-mails from Jon Ossoff today.

I've never donated that I can recall.
