A huge Steve Cohen popping out of the Home Run Hat is, well, kinda creepy.

A lot going on in this round between the doubleheader flop, the Frazier trade, Tom's passing, Pete's memorable HR, and Steve's purchase.

I think that the look of the Newsday cover is for their anniversary. G-Fafif wrote about his search for the papers remembering Tom: http://www.faithandfearinflushing.com/2020/11/17/a-rainy-goodbye/ .

Are you referring to the News cover, the Post cover, or both? I think the Post cover is creepier!

So that Newsday cover is running away with it. I voted for it cause it looks cool and it's different, but does the aesthetic also create the vibe that Seaver dying could've been an event in the late 60s?

That makes more sense from a Back-to-the-Future-timeline-of-events perspective.

He didn't walk, he used a Hoverboard and went to a newsstand near the Clock Tower.

“MARTY!” I called out. “Don't line that ball at Matlack!”

But I had the wrong Marty, McFly rather than Perez.
