Mets are bringing back likable lefty Jerry Blevins on a minor league deal. Turned 37 in Second. Didn't pitch in 2020.

Yeah I approve. At 37 he falls into the 'crafty left hander' category.

I like Jerry. If he's our best LH reliever in 2021 that will be a bad job.

Why didn't he pitch in '20? COVID? Fear of COVID? Lack of interest? Zipper accident? Always liked him but don't expect much.

Released by the Giants in March, didn't seek Summer Camp opportunity.
