https://youtu.be/HTbyFsTCZ54 Weird, convoluted thru line to make, especially leaving out Ryan's appearance in the 1986 NLCS. When Ryan was brought up, I was expecting the infamous Dick Young column suggesting jealously of the Ryans by Nancy Seaver to be discussed the accelerated Seaver's desire to be moved. And that being a stepping stone to the sale, Cashen's hiring, etc.

I just barely read that yesterday on my lunch break at work...where M Donald Grant's minion Dick Young drove Seaver to demand an immediate trade when he wrote a column stating that Seaver only wanted a salary bump because Nancy was jealous of Ryan's wife making more money
