Boys I think we’re having a winter this year

Calling for at least of foot of snow here We didn't get that much altogether last winter

Last year I didn't use the snowblower even once. Today I repositioned it to the front of the garage, moving the lawnmower to the back.

Looks like a foot or more coming beginning tomorrow. But I suspect it'll melt away soon after

Expecting 12-16 inches here in CT. And the temperature will stay below freezing until Sunday. Later

I tried to fire it up on Sunday to make sure it ran and I wasn't shuffling to fuss with it on Thursday morning. Couldn't start it up (and it's an electric start so it's usually quite effortless). Siphoned the gas out, put in fresh with some Sta-bil and swapped in a new spark plug I bought during the summer. Phwam! Consensus seems we're in the 12"-18" belt

Luckily for us most of this storm is expected to blow through south/southeast of Syracuse. I think the forecast for us is just a couple of inches. Don't worry, though, we'll get our share and the next guy's over the upcoming months.

northwest jersey is solidly in the "you're fucked" band, with an expected 20+ inches. not the maximum, mind you, just the most probable. could approach a full two feet! making sure the snow thrower works is something i should really think about doing. i did just make it massively more accessible in the garage, though.

If we get more than about 5" that's when I have to go shovel. Otherwise we just drive over it. We're jaded that way.

We got just an inch or two. Not even going to shovel it, not worth the effort. OK by me. Looks like Binghamton got 2.5' of it just an hour south of us so we didn't miss it by much. For those of you who got a big storm, drive slow and stay safe!

The official total for my town is four inches, but I'm pretty sure we had more than that. Seems more like six.

ended up with maybe a foot or so. not sure the total measurement. the important thing is that my snow blower is leaking gas from its carburetor. damn.

We got 10-12 inches. It blew around a but, so measuring was hard. But a decent snow. Shoveled it between conference calls.

20 inches and my daughters school is back up tomorrow. Gotta love PA
