The first of many polls I thought up while painting the hallway. You get EITHER Synch 1 OR Synch 2, on a mixtape at a desert island, forever. Neither is not an acceptable answer (otherwise you get all of Sting's solo projects and we take away your Zeppelin). Explain your reasoning. I prefer both but I'll choose I because please don't take my Zeppelin away. II's the one that got radio play in '83, I think. Great album. Great summer, even though the Mets still sucked. Oh to be young again, to be able to run for miles and miles without getting winded, and with your whole life ahead of you.

I like them both but it's Syn I and it's not a particularly tough call for me.

I defunded Police by never buying an album of theirs. Ceetar would be proud...

I'm still thinking it over. I think I had always been a II man, but I turned it over a hundred times this morning. I tell you what -- the Police doing both live -- same concert! -- is a vote in Is favor. So is the over the top video, II was powerful and dramatic but also everything wrong with the Police at that point-- pretensiousness. I also wonder if you shouldn't play both at the same time to experience the synchronicity.

Loved this album I vote II because my husband had a dead head boss at the time and it fit I wish he still worked for Corning though Edit: just sang it to my kitten and she likes it too

"Synch II" is about as metuhl as the Police ever got, and "Synch I" is more keyboard driven, but the latter is a real opener, and it would be good to get me going in the morning. In a survival situation, that's important. Make mine Number Uno.
