"Once again, Jeter makes the final out." Swung at ball four too from what I heard. But hey, at least it wasn't like he was the tying run trying to get on base or anything ... oh wait!! "How many has that been this year?" More than his fans are willing to admit but less than I willing to settle for.

Kazmir surrendered a 1st inning 2r HR to Sheff, but not much else in 7 IP. Now Victor Excitement has to hold up his end of the soon-to-be-famous Ace Swap to-nite. PS -- The Unstoppable Wasington Nationals (whom WWSB referred to as "The Capitals" in last night's radio pregame) won again, as did the Reds, who are on pace to go 90-0 under new skipper Narron.

I get ever-so-happy when Jeter makes the final out in a game the Yankees lose. It does feel like it's happened a lot this year. Now just Baltimore, Boston, Minnesota, Texas & Cleveland need to win tonight. So I also get really happy when I list the teams the Yankees are behind for the division title and wild card slot. It's so many that I may have even missed one . . .
