Boston up 5-0 on the Braves.
KC Jun 25 2005 03:11 PM |
You mean Phils, it's the FOX game up here. Atlanta and Orioles are score-
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 03:39 PM |
I mean the Phils. Soy estupido.
KC Jun 25 2005 03:43 PM |
I dunno.
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 04:12 PM |
Reyes opens with an 11-pitch lineout.
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 04:19 PM |
Crash! Bam! Pow!!
KC Jun 25 2005 04:19 PM |
Holy Mackerel ...

Transcript of Mel Stottlemeyer's visit to the mound"
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:22 PM |
Great patience by everyone except the $100 million man. 28 pitches by Henn in the first. Even Reyes saw 3 balls that inning.
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 04:28 PM |
With a lefty like Glavine going at Yankee Stadium, I'd almost be tempted to switch Cammie and Floyd.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:29 PM |
Glavine looked good in the first, inducing ground balls all over the place. 2-0 after 1.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:32 PM |
Atlanta's blowing it against Baltimore. Reitsma just gave up 3 in the 9th to allow the O's to tie it.
KC Jun 25 2005 04:34 PM |
Everyone, buzz cut your heads NOW!!!
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 04:48 PM |
That's Cliff Floyd's personal high for homers as a Met.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:51 PM |
Ugh, Glavine gives up a two run double to Cano. 3-2.
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 04:51 PM |
Left that pitch a little up there, didn't you, Tom?
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:53 PM |
Great play by Reyes to end the inning. Diving stop on a grounder up the middle and then beats Jeter with the throw. Looked safe to me, but no complaints. 3-2 after 2.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:54 PM |
There really aren't too many things funnier than Mr. Met whittling a giraffe.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 04:59 PM |
I didn't like the top of the third. 1-2-3, and the Mets let Henn get out of the inning on only 7 pitches.
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 05:09 PM |
Glavine, meanwhilst, is having trouble getting third outs.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 05:33 PM |
Glavine's scuffling. He's up to 74 pitches through 4, same as Henn. I'd be shocked if both these guys made it through the 6th. Still has the 3-2 lead, though.
KC Jun 25 2005 05:34 PM |
3-2 through four. Glavine Houdini like (stolen from O'Brien).
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 05:36 PM |
So, I was just thinking, "Reyes should bunt for a hit against these suckas."
KC Jun 25 2005 05:41 PM |
Beltran doubles Reyes in with an awfully soft hit double down the left field line.
abogdan Jun 25 2005 05:43 PM |
Cliff goes boom 2: Electric Bugaloo
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 05:43 PM |
Baltimore made it interesting, but Atlanta persevered and won.
KC Jun 25 2005 05:43 PM |
Holy Mackerel ...
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 05:44 PM |
I blame Stottlemeyer for that one.
KC Jun 25 2005 05:47 PM |
Piazza, buzz kill, pops up next pitch.
KC Jun 25 2005 05:57 PM |
Glavine cruises through fifth, yielding only a Matsui single.
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 06:11 PM |
RBI tingle by Reyes makes it 7-2.
Iubitul Jun 25 2005 06:18 PM |
Must not get excited

Your out-of-town scoreboard, brought to you by... ME!

10-2? This is a nice thing to come back to. . . appears to me that the yankee pen is worse than ours. . .why do the writers keep saying that they should trade parts of their pen away for cameron and that we should trade for pen help?
Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 06:40 PM |
Who had three doubles in the seventh? You win!
holychicken Jun 25 2005 06:41 PM |
MLB is stiffin me on this game. . .I can't watch it. . .stuck with game day which isn't working very well. . .
holychicken Jun 25 2005 06:43 PM |
Heilman in for mop up duty? Do they not trust this guy at all? Or are they giving him the last three innings to groom him to be a starter again?
holychicken Jun 25 2005 06:48 PM |
Heilman puts them down 1-2-3. Gets Jeter looking on three pitches for the first out.
KC Jun 25 2005 06:51 PM |
10 - 2 through 7. I'm wilting.
holychicken Jun 25 2005 06:53 PM |
That's true. . .maybe it is because he didn't pitch last night.
holychicken Jun 25 2005 07:02 PM |
Looks like Willie changed his mind and is now bringing in Graves for mop-up duty. Until this guy shows some consistency on the mound I am going to be scared when he comes in.
KC Jun 25 2005 07:04 PM |
Hopefully, Rick talked to him for ten minutes recently.
holychicken Jun 25 2005 07:08 PM |
Considering he gave up a hit to giambi, it looks like 10 minutes wasn't quite enough. . .
KC Jun 25 2005 07:09 PM |
It was a weak hit and no one there to field it as the shift was on. It's kind of

i love watching this on yes and listening to kay and co. sound all depressed. kay is the worst.
Johnny Dickshot Jun 25 2005 07:14 PM |
Hey! Reyes walked!
holychicken Jun 25 2005 07:15 PM |
At least our BP didn't just walk Reyes.
holychicken Jun 25 2005 07:26 PM |
A-rod strikes out to end the game.
KC Jun 25 2005 07:27 PM |
It's over! 10-3 your final.
Johnny Dickshot Jun 25 2005 07:27 PM |
Nice job, Warriors.

Mets get first series win at the Dump that Ruth built.....loved that the MFY fans(the ones that didn't bolt in the 7th) couldn't shout down the..lets go Mets chant in the 9th.
soupcan Jun 25 2005 09:16 PM |
Mr. Dickshot's been dying to use that Warriors pic for what - two days now?
Johnny Dickshot Jun 25 2005 09:31 PM |
That photo is also my desktop.

Edgy DC Jun 25 2005 09:47 PM |
Half of me thinks we should go as Furies to the July 4th game.
Centerfield Jun 25 2005 11:03 PM |
Was out today...I'm watching the re-play on YES. Michael Kay is unbelievable...I can't believe a professional announcer can sound so depressed during a telecast. He sounds like his wife just left him for Cliff Floyd.
