They now have an Official Cheese Doodle.

Jeff's been busy.

This looks like a great start to a new Stupid Press Release thread on our new home board.

I've often preferred Wise as my locally-owned salty snack food of choice.

And you have to love this from J Wilpon....

]"Our partnership with Wise snacks is a home run," said Mets Senior Executive VP and COO Jeff Wilpon. "Nothing signals the arrival of summer more than watching Mets baseball and enjoying delicious Wise snacks."

Heard yesterday about how the Yanx radiocast now sponsors the disclaimer that's read during each game! Y'know, this part about how the pictures, descriptions and accounts of this game yyybbb ,,,

He went on to say:

"And Frosted Flakes! Nothing beats a good bowl of Frosted Flakes, any time of year! Except, maybe Apple Jacks. I hate it when we run out of Apple Jacks. I had to have Daddy fire that ticket department guy when he came in and ate all my Apple Jacks from the lunchroom. Yeah, we had to make up a whole thing about embezzlement and stealing office supplies and everything. But between you and me? He ate ALL my cereal. It was mine! I was saving those Apple Jacks! Next time? I wrote my name in big letters right on the box. J-E-F-F. Hands off!

Do you know how far it is to the grocery store from here? You gotta drive all the way through the parking lot, past the chop shops over the bridge, where they're always doing construction, and then into Flushing where you can't find parking and the grocery stores there are gross like that one C-Town, where they only have one size of Apple Jacks? They also have those 8-packs of little boxes.

Oh sure, I used to love them when I was a kid, but every one had Rice Krispies or Special K or Product 19 in them, and only one Froot Loops, Apple Jacks and Frosted Flakes. I used to give the Special K to my brother. He;s in Japan now. They don't even eat cereal there.

It's true! I went there once to see my brother! I ordered Apple Jacks and the waitress was like, "Aaap-ruh Jock?" I was like, no way. I'm never going back there.

Yeah. So normally I like to bring the Apple Jacks straight in from work. I have my wife buy it at the local Waldbaums in Port Washington. They have all the cereals in every size. I put the box right in my briefcase. It's fits perfect! Plus I don't have anything else in there except a few peices of paper and my nametage from the winter meeting last year. Dad says that I should carry one because it makes you look important.

Then there's the milk. Nothing signals the arrival of morning like pouring milk right onto your Apple Jacks! I like it a little soggy, but not too soggy. I like how it turns the leftover milk white with red spots. I like tpo pick up the whole bowl and sip the milk out of there, but Mom says that's rude.

Sorry Mom! I just can't help it! Nothing signals the arrival of my first appointment of the day like drinking the leftover red-speckled milk right out of my Apple Jacks bowl! Like today, I was going to meet the guy from Wise, then hold a press conference, then order a few interns around: "You, get out a press release about our new strategic partnership with Wise! You, get to the C-Town and get me some milk!" Then I'm going to call Mookie and get on him about last night's Cyclones game. We can't afford to lose games like that, you know, and stuff, and then go down and burn Duquette about him losing his job. He hates that. "Hey Jim? How's the GM job working out?" Oh, boy. Then I have to call Heyman and have him start a rumor.

Jim hates Apple Jacks by the way. So does Steve Phillips! Bobby at least would sometimes eat them. Omar is more of a pork rinds guy. I don;t eat that stuff at all. I kinda like Combos. The ones with the pretzel-and-cheese? Yeah. Nothing signals the arrival of me at a convenience store like buying a bag of Combos!

Then I'm going home early. But don't tell anyone!"

I think I just read tomorrow's Faith and Fear.

I can hardly wait for the new ballpark in Flushing to be named "Joe's Chop Shop" Staduim. At least it would be a local company.

I was hoping this involved real cheese, one of the most yummiest of all foods.

I'll say this for Jeff -- both his motion and his color scheme bear some resemblance to the Big Train.
