You know something, for all the bluster, that Atlanta writer sounds scared!

I like the hype. The more the Mets play under such scrutiny the sooner we see if they're for real. And its better to have all the Mets-related news be about baseball again.

oh please, that hardly qualifies as much of a disparity at all, what are they? 4th and 6th in payrolls? give me a break...

I was about to say! Not to mention, who exactly is the defending NL East Champs again? Who came inches away from forcing a Game 5 and a possible return to the NLCS?

While the quote proves my point, the point is, don't run down the team based on payroll!

HEH, thats like Curt Schilling on the Red Sox running down the Yankees payroll!

Actually come to think of it, 90 mil isn't exactly chump change either there!
