Things that need to be standardized

Some e-mail systems delineate recipients by commas, others by semi-colons. That needs to be standardized, or they should tolerate difference among users' preferences. Computer and calculator keypads go 7 8 9 4 5 6 1 2 3 but telephone keypads go 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Somebody standardize that.

EZ Pass versus cash toll booths. The EZ Pass booths should always be on one side (whether it be right or left).

I used to think they were standard by country. American cars on the right. Japanese cars on the left. German cars on the hood. etc. But I may be wrong.

there should just be one cash lane in the center and everything else EZ Pass, that'll teach all the holdouts a lesson You know, there are still some of us out here that have no need for EZPass, yet still use the occasional toll booth.
