My son-in-law was just promoted to Captain in the US Army. As a reward for that promotion, he is on his way to Afghanistan for "at least one year". Later

My thoughts and prayers are with you son-in-law and all other military personnel stationed around the world. May he return home safe and sound at the end of his assignment.
