The Mets missed a golden oppurtunity to send a message to the Braves and the Shea faithful with a victory in today's game. in this series. Glavine turned in what was arguably the Mets best start of the season, but he received minimal offensive support of his effort. With Beltran and Floyd out of the line up, the Mets offense is suddenly sputtering.
Today Glavine answered the call, but the rest of the team failed to follow. Therefore, the winner of today's POTG poll shall receive a six pack of Lead Dog Ale by the Yukon Brewing Company.
