I guess he's next up and seen as the "consolation prize" for Bauer. More suitors evidently. 8 year pro, former 1st round pick of the Brewers, traded for Greinke, traded for Wade Davis and James Sheilds, traded for a minor leaguer I never head of Last year made $17.8M on 4 appearances--the injury wasn;t TJ but getting struck with a line drive. Was a 2019 15-game winner. Can strike you out.

If he can strike ME out, he's pretty darn good! I can imagine the Tabloid Cover Derby entries when Odorizzi has a bad outing.

More than just a consolation prize, and could allow the acquisition of a center fielder (trade?) while keeping the budget under the cap.(if that is still a concern) Later

Occasionally makes it through 6 innings. Yawn. I think our level of need at starting pitcher is overstated. I'd rather have Trevor Rosenthal if we're spending money on pitching.
