I broke the snow blower last-significant-accumulating snow and put off trying

to fix it. Have to get on that today, and change my loser sig line too.

It is supposed to end on February 2nd.

So, instead of making a snowman, we'll make a snow groundhog.

As long as they prefaced it with "about".

Another big storm that's mostly expected to swing south of us - we're forecasted for 6-12" between noon tomorrow and Tuesday night. In other words, just February.

Every storm has missed us so far here in the ROC. The Golden Snowball site lists us at 33.6" for the season so far, but that feels really high to me. If I was going to guess, I'd say closer to 18-24" total where we are. I've only used the snowblower once, and it's already February.

That map above has Lock Haven, where I live, at 8-12 inches. So far it's right lol

Weird temp out there when I was shoveling. The top crest of the snow was melting back into the path as I was shoveling and then quickly freezing under my feet.

I have a totally kick-ass snowblower. When I'm out there clearing my driveway, I know that every woman on the block wants me. And every man on the block wants to be me. (And maybe some of the men want me and maybe some of the women want to be me. This post is totally woke.)

I just shoveled our so far 8 inches. Hubby said he was going to go ‘blow the snow off his car' and came back with wine

Also cleaned off bird feeders and fed outdoor cats

At least it's a start

I'm hoping it holds off at least until five. My car is in the shop and I have a loaner. I don't like the idea of driving a car in the snow that I barely have ten miles experience with.

Any garage worth its salt in the NE should provide snow brushes 😹

It finally started snowing sometime between 4 and 7 AM and it's coming down pretty well. The kids get a snow day (though I am not sure why as they could all potentially just be remote today but whatever). Wife is just leaving for work now but her commute is just a couple of miles. Looks pretty out there.

Final count between 17 and 19 inches (depending on which CT station you watch) and the plow guy just came again. :)

We're right on the hourly-changing wintery-mix, 1-2", 3-6" and 6"-12" line up here

but that's pretty normal the last twenty years or so. Give me a healthy dumping of

fresh white stuff over sleet and freezing bullshit any day.

Not quite healthy dumping, but I'd prefer snow over sleet or that freezing stuff any day.
