Now that the position players have reported, the next milestone will be March 1. No, not because it will be the first spring training game. It will because that is when we will see a box score - to me it will be the sign that baseball has started. What is yours? Later

This. Even if it's Number 79 striking out Number 88 and they call the game with two outs in the bottom of the seventh and the score tied because the bars just opened up, the Mets are on TV again.

Looks like as per SNY's web site the first televised Grapefruit league game will be on Tuesday March 2nd at 1 PM. Mets vs. Astros. Replayed at 8 PM.

Yeah, I work full time from home these days too. But I also normally take a 1-2 PM lunch and catch a few winks. I can watch the 8-9 PM hour on replay to see the starters, at least those who start.
