As far as reserve outfielders on the bubble getting a fill-in opportunity go, he gave the Mets the best seven of the best games of his career, as opposed to, say, Fred Lewis or Emil Brown.



Took 15 off the back of Juan Lagares and kept it off the back of Tim Tebow, seemingly presaging the end of both tenures.
