The best time of the year to have a slump. It's worth pointing out that McNeil got off to a rough start (bat and glove) last season. I'm guessing that whatever offseason regimen he has (assuming he has one) isn't cutting it. But I don't expect any lasting issues.

Francisco just got his Mets career started with a two run homer to put the Mets up 7-3. Nothing crushes the other team like going deep after they make an error.
