So, if boundaries had stayed as in 1783, the people in Connecticut would have rooted for the Pirates instead of the Red Sox.

And the Dodgers would still be in Brooklyn.

Who says the expansion of the United States was a good thing?

I either hadn't realized or hadn't remembered that, after readmitting Georgia, the U.S. expelled them again for a bit.
