Current forecast from The Weather Channel has the rain starting around 2 p.m. and perhaps not becoming heavy until 3. It's a good thing the Mets have a crack team of meteorologists.

Now the rain isn't predicted to start until 4. It's looking more promising that they'll be able to play today. I just wish this uncertainty wasn't happening on a DeGrom Day.

Well... when I posted an hour ago, the rain wasn't supposed to start until 4 p.m. But now... it's raining. They're currently saying there will only be an hour or so this afternoon, between 2 and 3, when it won't be raining.

They should call it. Or if not, give an emergency start to someone else. Let Luchessi start tomorrow in Denver and save deGrom for Saturday.
