I dunno, but I imagine the Mets appreciate the extra half hour to avoid the solution to spreading a pandemic. (Lindor and co get their second shots after the game)

It's funny how we were like it's so weird they don't score runs for Jake and the Mets were like it totally is and then stopped scoring for everyone.

    I like the early start and while MLB continues to make unsuccessful attempts at shortening games, we can guarantee that a 6:40 game will be over a half-hour earlier than if it started at 7:10.

    It's ridiculous that, for all the potential of this offense at the start of the year, you have ZERO cahnfidence in them scoring even one run over the next four innings, much less two or more.

    By the end of this game, I was hoping the Mets would lose. Because deGrom's season stat line is unbelievable. He has a sub 1.00 ERA. He's allowed just two earned runs all season and for each earned run allowed, he's been tagged with a loss.

    I concur but Conforto has 3 HRs against Anderson otherwise I'd have Pillar and Almora.
