MLB blackout rules are the worst. My provider doesn't offer WPIX and MLB network is blacked out. I had to go to some pretty dicey web sites to find one streaming WPIX illegally to cast to my TV.

The Mets rushed to sign McCann so they didn't have to wait to chase Realmuto and would have extra $ for other FA's who they didn't sign (perhaps they used that $ for Lindor). McCann, so far, is a hot, steaming sack of garbage with cute twins.

I shelled out for MLB.TV this year in anticipation of this team being fun to watch. So far I was wrong. Yes, DeGrom is fun to watch, though watching him continually get stiffed by his offense is very frustrating. I don't know how DeGrom keeps his sanity. Stroman has been good and looks like he is ready to suffer a prototypical DeGrom fate. Nimmo with a double, so our chances of scoring this inning is pretty much over.

This team is frustrating to watch. Baseball in general, is frustrating to watch. Baseball has essentially become hit HR or strike out. There is little else. Oh and I hate the shift. Smart play by Herrara.

The other thing about open web gloves in the infield is that you can get your finger(s) hooked in the webbing when trying to pick out the ball. OFs tend to use them because you can block the sun but still peek through the gaps.

Well, Familia throws it almost everywhere other than where the target is. With a target in the center of the plate, Familia is likely to throw it in the dirt, 2 feet wide of the plate or on the black of the plate. The one place he is likely to throw it is right down the middle where the target actually is.

The pitchers gave up ZERO ER with the only runs coming when the multi-million $ FA C couldn't catch strike three and the ump kicked it so far away that two runs score. You know that, too, but I'm trying to process it. The list of Mets embarrassments could be written down but I'd get carpal tunnel.
