This seemingly deserves its own thread. Do the Mets hitters have an imaginary friend?

After the way they'd been hitting all week, Met hitters didn't have too many real friends.

In comedy, it's called being "committed to the bit". Pete has been the best straight man for the story. Michael and Luis smiled but collected themselves.

This Donnie Stevenson saga reminds me of the shrink in The Natural who gave the N.Y. Knights a locker room pep talk. I've attached a youtube video of the scene, which doesn't work.

Also, the time setting for this forum is four hours off when I'm not logged in. Do I need to adjust a setting or is everybody's forum clock four hours off when they're logged out?

I think it was defaulting to Stockholm time when you were logged out.

I just went under the hood to reconfigure. Please let me know if it's better or worse.

I'm glad they found something to act dopey about. But I'm also totally bored by this schtick already.

I already like Donnie more than LFGM and the cookie club.

I don't care if their inspiration is a six foot tall rabbit named Harvey, or if they start lighting each others' farts on national tv as long as they keep hitting.
