The 36 year old NFL quarterback announced his retirement. He suffered multiple leg fractures in a game and needed 17 operations to keep from losing the leg. Two years ago he was in a wheelchair, wondering whether he would ever walk again. He came back to lead the WFT to the playoffs in 2020. He is an inspirational player and person. For a first overall pick, he never seemed to catch a break. But he had an enviable career regardless.
