ESPN game. The Wilpons, ever hungry for validation, would order a deGrom start, just like they ordered Pedro to start when he was hurting. Let's see if Stevie resists. If it were me, I'd have Jacob on a plane already and wouldn't have pitched Reid-Foley last night.

I only looked around casually but as far as I see this game hasn't been postponed yet. It's been one cold (record breaking for the 29th and 30th north of the city) and soggy mess these past couple of days.

Double-headers used to be punishment, because they meant games compacted into the schedule, with pitchers having to return to action without having recovery time. But now, every double-header means 22.2% fewer innings your staff needs to cover, and that advantage should at least somewhat ameliorate the downside.
