The history of what is currently considered "Major" league baseball reached 20,000 players all time this week.



I wonder how many of that number drop off if you eliminate all those who appeared in only one season.

I'm guessing it gets cut in half, or at least darn close to it. Somebody I'm sure has that kind of breakdown.

Another fun fact: Of the 20,000 players, a full 0.01% are named Johneshwy.

Same as the number of players named Liam. Will MLB have a second Liam or a second Johneshwy? The race is on!
