RIP Phil Lombardi, 1963-2021

1989 Mets catcher Phil Lombardi died on May 20 from brain cancer at the age of 58. He had been living in Santa Clarita, California.

This hurts to read. He was Phil Fucking Lombardi and I wish i got a chance to tell him so.

I always thought his card was one of the best-looking in the set. Better if he had not been wearing just an ugly uniform.
