The back part of the Pirates lineup is a pretty much a festival of guys who ain't ready, but that don't matter if you can't throw strikes. Looked like Taijuan misses his goo. AND VILLAR TIES IT WITH ONE SWING!

Everything you're hoping your favorite other player in the Mets lineup might be when he finds himself? That's what Nimmo is now. And it's pretty much what he's been this season whenever he's been in the lineup.

Walker seems determined to live up to his name tonight, and what's worse is that he keeps doing it against bottom of the lineup hitters after getting ahead in the count.

You know, it's taken as a matter of fact that no Mets position player could credibly be added to the All Star Team, but I don't think it's too scandalous to think that maybe this Nimmo guy is qualified.
