Afraid that TBD's arm was going to fall off, the Mets send Tylor Megill to the mehill to face the Braves. Megill is coming off two straight outstanding starts, with the most recent leading to his first careeer win. The Braves counter with Max Fried. And that will lead to their destruction.

How about starting Drury? Fried is a LHP and Drury has had two good games off the bench.

I agree with that. Conforto collecting two hits today makes it a little harder to sit him, but there's a strong argument that he's more useful to them as a threat off the bench tomorrow.

Tylor Megill reminds me some of how deGrom kinda came out of nowhere way back. This guy throws haarrd. Mccann gets a start. I feel like there are some hits in Squirrel's bat tonight.

YUGE game. The best the Braves can do now is gain one game in the standings, while 4 more days have slipped off the calendar and they'll only have 3 remaining with the Metsies. I watched that throw over and over, too. I thought he was safe when I first saw it, but he was very much out.
