Baez is eligible to come off the IL today and it sounds like Lindor is healthy or at least much healthier. There's no time like the present and the Mets need them so I hope that management isn't going to wait until Tuesday to activate them.

Conforto has been hitting. Therefore, he should be in the lineup even though a LHP is starting. Plus, he's a better fielder than Drury so Pillar can move to LF. There, I've thought this out better than everyone in the Mets organization. (Destroy this message if Drury goes nuts today.) Jose Martinez homered for SYR today so I imagine that we'll see him at CF on Tuesday.

Jose Martinez homered for SYR today so I imagine that we'll see him at CF on Tuesday. Especially if he can relief pitch. We saw him yesterday, here in Syracuse, in his first game back. Fgirl and I were out on the berm and I yelled "Hey, Jose Martinez! Good to see you on the field!" He tipped his cap. I then asked him how he was feeling and got a thumbs up. God, I do love AAA baseball.
