Lots of rain in Nassau, but nothing visibly catastrophic between Sunrise and the Southern State where I am.

Henri came on shore near the Eastern Connecticut/ Rhode Island border, then has taken a turn and is headed toward Western Connecticut (near me). Already have some water in my garage and heavy rainfall expected throughout the night. Later

Oops just as I typed that it started to pour Fred or Freida or whatever F was came through here on Wednesday so I guess we've had enough rain for now

My mom is up visiting from Florida and scheduled to fly home tomorrow, from Albany. Hopefully it's just rain and nothing worse. We had a nice clear day up in the 'Cuse.

I don't really miss Long Island at all, but admittedly I'm way closer and get there plenty still. storm cleared in NJ. we were mostly clear of the path, but river flood warnings today. Glad we left Cape Cod on Saturday not Sunday though.
