I like our chances here as the Lindor-Baez team up for the first time, we have some momentum from Sunday, the Cohen criticism sinks in. And our best pitcher, (!!) The dark horse nobody had, is on the bump. Tuesday Night Mets Club up in 513 for this one

The Giants are having some rotation issues at the moment. This Long guy is another one I had to look up. Sammy Long, lefty, 26 y/o rookie, 18th round draft pick by Tampa out of Cal State Sacramento in 2016 8 ML appearances this year (and career), 4 starts, 4 in relief. Has yet to get very deep into a game. 1-1; 5.72 ERA, 28.1 IP, 26 H, 3 HR, 31 K, 10 BB, 1.27 WHIP I'd feel a bit better if he wasn't lefty or if it had turned out to be Shelly Long on the hill tonight, but you can only face who they throw at ya.

The Mets won't see Webb and Gausman while DeSclafani is on the IL so SFG has to use someone that isn't always in the rotation. https://www.mlb.com/player/sammy-long-669674 A LHP so JD at 3B and if Lindor is activated McNeil on the bench, I guess.

The Tylor non-cover was more of a mistaken take on what was going on and then it was too late to recover. Pretty much all I have positive to say about him at the present time.

btw, a 4:15 gap between the final pitch from Megill and the first one by Williams, or more than double the length of a between innings gap. It's too bad the sport can't find any dead time to cut.

I hate that the box score graphic has the pitcher and pitch count but no info about the batter. I could give a fig how many pitches Long has thrown, thanks.

It's kinda dumb to just have the pitcher info there. I'm sure it would be easy enough to 'slide show' batter info and pitcher info there every 2-3 seconds.
