Wow! There were three up-for-grab IGT's this week following Mets losses that you didn't hog up. That must be a record for you. I knew that the odds were almost 100% that you'd start today's IGT.

And we all knew you'd be the first to PETULANTLY chime in. My post-loss IGT starting

is no more than another handful of regular post starters.

You've become the forum's Donald Trump. All smoke, no fire... a lot of hot air aimed

So if nobody's supposed to care, why do we even have rules or protocols for this? Why doesn't KC just start every IGT? I'd like that.

Re: IGT 09/24 - Mets at Brewcrew - Going Through the Motions

I hope the "in-game" portions of this thread has more content and substance than the prologue. I appreciate the fatted sac reference though, and I hope that, if anyone takes Kase up on it, there's video, and I hope it's a live feed from Assclown City.

BML, I appreciate you think Kase and several others among us here are assholes. As for me, maybe I am sometimes. I'm sorry. I try hard not to be one.

I just ask that, if you really need to call me out as one, you give me enough tolerance to wait until I do something more egregious than starting too many IGTs. If that's the standard of where we incite your castigation, then the room is just going to turn into a big old shitfest fighting forum. I'm certain I speak for the majority of the group when I say that we don't want that.

As administrator and chief moderator, folks can certainly tell me if I'm wrong — here or in a private message.

If you think I'm full of shit, and Kasey and others are just too insidious and infuriating to allow their statements to pass without censure, I would ask you to please just block these posters. It'd sure be healthier for you and them and whatever is left of the culture here.

For me, I've known Kase for a long time. I disagree with him often enough, but he'd be the first guy I'd trust in a tight spot. I hope that, in your circle, you have a dozen friends just like him. But your mileage may vary.

Let's post some lineups or something. Wait ... this game is tomorrow?

Between the later CDT start and the 65 pitches thrown in the 1st inning, I'm essentially guaranteed to cash this one in early.

Re: IGT 09/24 - Mets at Brewcrew - Going Through the Motions

Carlos Gomez and Frankie Rodriguez were inducted into the Brewers “Wall of Honor” tonight (which is a wall along the concourse dedicated to Brewer greats). I guess tonight was Gomez officially announcing his retirement.

Frankie was not here, but Gomez threw out the first pitch with Yovani Gallardo (also inducted). Gomez went along the third base dugout and waved to Mets fans, too, which I thought was classy.

Brewer fans did not seem to take any notice when Villar came to bat, even though he played 3 years with a .748 OPS for Milwaukee.
