Man, those are some big-ticket pitching options. I know he didn't have a strong second half, but is Clayton Kershaw really suddenly a lesser asset than Starling Marte? Or Marcus Stroman?

Boy, that's a huge payroll if that's true, lol. I'd take a flier on Carlos Rodon. Oft-injured but really good when healthy. Probably could get him for short years and bucks, and he didn't get a QO from the Pale Hose, so no draft pick involved.

I worry that with no GM and POBO, and a short deadline for signings since the CBA expires on 12/1, the Mets may get left out in the cold on a lot of free agents.
