comin' to town:
Legendary New York Mets announcer to visit
New York Mets play-by-play announcer Gary Cohen is returning for the 2022 installment of the Ridgefield Library's Hot Stove League program.
The program will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
General admission seating begins at 11 a.m.
The Ridgefield Playhouse is located at 80 East Ridge Road.
The library is offering fans a special VIP package that guarantees seating in the first three rows of the Playhouse, a commemorative 2022 Hot Stove with Gary Cohen t-shirt, 10 raffle tickets, and preferential access for a post-event Meet and Greet with Cohen.
There will also be the raffle drawings for signed Mets books, and memorabilia, and collectibles.
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early because the event normally sells out quickly.
A donation of $35 for adults and $20 for children is suggested. Attendance will be limited to 300 people.
Tickets are available online at ridgefieldlibrary.org.
Masks and proof of a COVID-19 vaccination are required.
Contact Ridgefield Library Director of Development Lauren Bubniak at lmbubniak@ridgefieldlibrary.org, or 203-438-2282, ext. 104 for more information.
