I haven't bought an article of Mets clothing in probably 7-8 years but I would proudly wear a tee shirt with that handsome logo on it. (added personal bonus, I too was Est. 1962)

I assume it'll be a patch right? I haven't gotten a new jersey in ages, though I don't have a strong enough attachment to anyone right now.

So they're celebrating the 60th anniversary this year instead of the 60th season last year. The opposite of what they did for the 25th. (I don't remember what they did for the 50th.) The last 60 years tell us that the Mets finish the season in first place ten percent of the time.

I have my own ties to some of the prime years of Mets baseball -- my parents were married in 1969 and I was born in 1973.

better percentage than Cohen. I don't know why you are always taking shots at Cohen. A couple stumbles out of the gate, but he seems to be getting it right since the bumpy start. because he's a scumbag, still employs sexual harasser(s) and the people that hired him despite pretending to fix it. Because he basically punted 2021 for 'value', meddles too much, and let some of my favorite players leaves despite the team desperately needing them. I don't know what he's "getting right"? throwing a lot of money at a few players?

I read on the eve of the season they didn't plan to wear it, just use it for promotions. Seems like a missed opportunity.
