Spotify Wrapped

Spotify today released it's annual "Wrapped" feature, where it tells you what you listened to the most during the last year. With the caveat that it only includes the songs I listened to on Spotify, and not the iPod function of the phone. But interesting. I mostly listen to podcasts in the car and music when walking and running. It says my "Audio Aura" based on top music moods are "uplifting" and "joy." So I have that going for me, which is nice. No, joyful and uplifting. Stand closer to the aura. :)



Seems like a couple new releases sways the charts. The new Switchfoot album is really good! When you get into top 100 songs played it gets a little more varied.

My wife ruins the shareability of these lists for me by playing ocean sounds overnight. My list is topped w/ John Cougar Mellancamp thanks to my listening to his entire catalog project. I used Tidal, so I don't get these reports, but my recent listening list is dominated by listening to every album in the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums.
