Goodbye, most recent pitcher to close out a pennant.

Can't wait to beat him on a couple of squibs and a couple of walks. I never trusted Familia, and he's going to find out how rough Philly fans can be.

That said, Mets need more BP help.

I liked the guy. I mean he was pretty good, especially in the beginning

Good luck with that! How many ding dongs will he give up in Philly before

Memorial Day? I'll kinda miss him, I mean he was a Met for like a decade.

Time flies, and so do meatballs...

Eh he's a groundball-strikeout guy

Gave up ten ding dongs last year in a little less than 60 innings.

Mel Rojas is his #1 Sim Score guy on bbrdotcom lol...

He'll get a nice round of applause I would think in his first appearance in the Citi as a visitor. You know, then, again, once he gives up that nine run HR that's his trademark.

He was a good Met.

I remember him being pretty automatic during the 2015 regular season.

He was incredible in 2015.

I'm looking forward to hearing if the Phillies announcers call him Jay-or-Reese.

Re: Memories of Jeurys Familia

Had some successful outings after returning from Oakland, but I almost never saw his confidence return. And his splitter seemed like almost entirely a forgotten pitch.

Re: Memories of Jeurys Familia

There wasn't much memorable about his second tenure. For 3 years and $30M, we had the right to hope for him being better than OK. But at least he was OK, most of the time. He also seemed like a likeable guy.

Maybe the best way to remember Familia is through the lens of Betances.
